I wouldn't be surprised if they cooked up a way to dodge surveillance after you got outed, but I'd be surprised if they did it in such a short time. Their more technically savvy individuals left us.

We need a procedure for when this happens. A way to keep their lives from being fucked when they get back.

I find it hard to believe that all of them would have unanimously agreed to that idea without telling one of us. They're a connected group, but it's not that often that all of them see eye to eye.

As for a procedure, I can work on that. The main issue is going to be the fact that they're missing days of work.

Which could lead to all of them huddling in the safehouse. None of them want that again.

I can help you cook up some notes to their bosses. Not many of them work together. It won't be too suspicious.

How would you define "fucked up" in this context?

They have superpowers, share dreams, and remember alternate timelines.

Do you comprehend any of that?

Theoretically, yes. But it's obviously not anything I've experienced for myself.

Morningstar is a mess. We need to bring in operatives from other cities. I'd ask the Displaced before making a move like that, but going dark, it hasn't worked. We started seeming glimmers of hope.

But that's the problem.

More Morningstar equals more of a risk to everything you've built. I won't be the only one with shaken faith, but none of them have the Displaced to bring them back.

So, we start there. What are you thinking?

The issue isn't me. You know I can be discrete.

We tried seeing how Morningstar would work on a smaller scale under new leadership. Obviously, the scale of the mistakes that occurred, combined with Cassius' actions, can't be fully blamed on Peggy and Fitz, but who would we look to? Morningstar can't inspire infighting. We can't risk someone with a narrower vision of the world running operations at this point.

I do wish I'd had the chance to talk to Connor before he left about you. But I didn't. So, I'm going blind. Morningstar is bigger than your lie.

It's hard to tell the ones who are here why I'd be blind to the ELysian thing. They don't get it.

Cassius shows a very good divide on those.
