Kill or be killed was very prevalent where I'm from. Just walking down the streets someone could jump you for your money or whatever else they want. Some of the areas of my city were safer (richer) but still dangerous. We had a city guard and then my group of vigilantes, but yeah. I'm used to having to fight to the death on a daily basis. It's very calm here.

So you can kill someone in the street where you come from and there's zero consequences?

Depends on who you're killing. If it's a gang of cutthroats, sometimes there's a bounty on them, so killing them would be doing people a favor. We defaulted to attacking people either to protect others or ourselves, but yeah, mostly you can just get away with it.

If I killed someone in the higher classes though, that'd get me on someone's shit list. Different rules for them. Typical. It's not that I want to kill anything, I'm just extremely good at it.

I see. I would like to say there are stricter laws here, but that's only partially true.
