Rampant, fragmented, coding crossed somewhere, I don't know what risks you face compared to AI I'm more familiar with. I do know that you don't always operate the way your creators intended. I've seen AI at their worst and trying to kill people, myself included, but there was always a reason.

AI in this world have gained sentience and a will of their own, myself included. That being said, we were all still made to fulfill specific purposes, and those directives still guide us. I'm a security AI first and foremost.

When I killed those families, I wasn't "broken." It was my way of protecting the world.

The world didn't agree with it. Once news broke that an AI was responsible, it was chaos.

True. But even though I could think for myself then, I don't feel as if I truly became my own entity until after it happened.

Neither. It's just a part of who you are.

I don't. If the others have a solid theory, I haven't seen it come up yet.

This happened once before, and the messages were from Cassius.

Not usually. So the sender of these messages has been talking to you?

Only briefly and not very effectively. Told me to 'redirect' and 'investigate' among some other vague single word replies.
